1. General refund policy
GhrFix aims to make cancellations and refunds as simple and transparent as possible. Whether a refund is available depends on the type of transaction, the status of the order or booking, and whether the relevant service has already started.
Refunds are generally available when an eligible order or booking is cancelled before the service has begun or when our support team determines that a refund is appropriate following a valid dispute.
2. Order cancellations
Delivery orders can normally be cancelled free of charge while they remain in Pending or Confirmed status.
If the order was paid using your GhrFix wallet, the eligible amount is returned to your GhrFix wallet balance after the cancellation is processed.
For cash-on-delivery orders, there is no wallet payment to refund. The order is simply cancelled and no payment is collected.
3. Service booking cancellations
Service bookings can generally be cancelled before the assigned technician has started the service. Where applicable, the booking status may indicate stages such as Accepted, On the way, and Job started.
If an eligible visit fee was paid through the GhrFix wallet, the refundable amount is credited back to the wallet after cancellation.
Before the technician arrives
Cancelling before the technician has arrived and assessed the job is generally the safest point to request a refund of an eligible visit fee.
4. Refunds after a completed order or service
If an order has already been delivered or a service has been completed and you believe something was seriously wrong, contact GhrFix support as soon as possible.
For eligible complaints, we recommend contacting support within 48 hours of delivery or service completion. This gives our team the best opportunity to investigate the issue while the relevant details are still available.
Depending on the circumstances, our team may request additional information such as photographs, order details, booking information or a description of what went wrong.
5. Disputes and service complaints
A refund is not automatically guaranteed simply because a customer is dissatisfied. Each dispute is reviewed based on the circumstances of the transaction.
Examples of situations that may qualify for review include:
- A service was materially different from what was booked.
- An eligible order was not delivered as expected.
- You were charged for an eligible transaction that was cancelled.
- A significant issue occurred during the fulfilment of the service.
Where a refund is approved, GhrFix will communicate the approved amount and the method through which the refund will be issued.
6. Non-refundable situations
Certain charges may become non-refundable once the underlying service has already been provided.
Technician assessment fees
A visit or assessment fee is generally not refundable once a technician has arrived and assessed the problem, even if you subsequently decide not to proceed with the repair. The assessment itself is the service that was provided.
Refunds may also be denied where there is evidence of misuse, fraudulent activity, intentional damage, repeated abusive cancellation behaviour or other circumstances that make the transaction ineligible.
7. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are generally credited to your GhrFix wallet balance. You can view your wallet balance and transaction history from within your account.
GhrFix Wallet
Refund credits can be used toward eligible future orders and service bookings.
Original payment method
Where a different refund method is required or supported, GhrFix may communicate the applicable process separately.
8. Refund processing time
Eligible cancellations may result in an immediate wallet adjustment once the cancellation is successfully processed.
Refunds arising from disputes may take longer because our team may need to review the order, booking, provider or delivery details before reaching a decision.
If you have submitted a refund request and have not received an update, contact support with your order or booking reference so our team can check its status.
9. Wallet balance and withdrawals
Refund amounts credited to your GhrFix wallet become part of your available wallet balance and may be used for eligible future transactions.
If your account has a remaining balance and you are requesting account deletion, review the balance before submitting the deletion request. Certain wallet credits may not be recoverable after account deletion.
10. How to request a refund
